Age 5 - 14 Youth Rugby – Free Come-Try Sessions In partnership with the Big Marble Go Centre, Ogres Rugby Club is excited to offer 9 FREE youth rugby sessions designed to introduce kids to the game in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. These sessions are perfect for boys and girls ages 5–14, whether they are brand new to rugby or already play other sports like hockey, soccer, or football. No prior rugby experience is needed. Our youth program focuses on: Fun, game-based learning Developing basic rugby skills such as running, passing, catching, and safe tackling Building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship Keeping kids active and engaged in a positive team setting Training is non-contact or age-appropriate contact only, following Rugby Canada guidelines, and is led by dedicated coaches who prioritize safety, inclusion, and enjoyment above all else. This is a no-cost, no-pressure opportunity for kids to try a new sport, make friends, and be part of a growing rugby community in Medicine Hat. Parents are encouraged to stay, watch, and be part of the club atmosphere. No experience. No cost. Just fun, active rugby.
